Child safety standards

Our commitment

Green Grass has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We prohibit any content or conduct that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors. Accounts involved in CSAE may be suspended or permanently removed, and we cooperate with law enforcement and recognised reporting bodies where required by law.

Who may use Green Grass

Green Grass is not directed at children. Users must meet the minimum age required to create an account in their country or region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us immediately (see below).

Report child safety concerns in-app

Signed-in users can report content that may involve child safety risks:

1. Open the post you want to report in the Green Grass app or website.
2. Tap or select the menu on the post (⋯) and choose Report post.
3. Select Inappropriate content (or the closest category) and add details so moderators can prioritise review.
4. Submit the report. Our moderation team and masjid or platform administrators review reports.

For urgent child safety matters, also email us directly (see Contact) so we can act without delay.

How we respond

• We review reports as promptly as practicable and prioritise credible child safety concerns.
• We remove or restrict access to violating content and accounts where appropriate.
• Where we become aware of CSAM or conduct that may endanger a child, we report to relevant regional or national authorities and organisations (for example, in Australia, reports may be made to the eSafety Commissioner or law enforcement as applicable; in the United States, reports may be made to NCMEC where required).
• We preserve information as needed to comply with legal obligations and assist investigations.
